The Surf Africa capsule was inspired by the beauty of the African Surf Culture. I have always been one to look for the sub-culture within a culture. As a California native finding surf culture in Senegal was a marriage of all the things I love about California and a blend of my own heritage as a WOC.
Located on the Cabo Verde Peninsula, Dakar is exposed to both southern and northern hemisphere swells, allowing surfers to find good waves all year long.
The CONVERTIBLE
It’s a hybrid. The flowy dress your wear to brunch that turns into the dramatic skirt you wear to drinks with friends. The Convertible is what I dreamed of what a woman would want to wear after a surf session at N’gor beach. The Convertible is the only piece you will want & need to take with you on your travels. Being conscious of the current climate, I wanted to design something that gave women flexibility, drama and comfort. Come surf with Mrs.Jones.
